We had a great night. I slept right through to 6.25 which for me is fantastic. It is wild and wet but the forecast is to dry later. I have had a bath and been working on putting more photos up for Tuesday. I don’t have ‘mogrify’ on my wee netbook so am having to compress each photo one at a time using ‘gimp’ – takes ages. We are getting ready for breakfast. Here are some pictures of this lovely place

Well it turned out another fantastic day. The rain stopped about nine and the sun came out at lunchtime. We left here just after nine and went to Isleornsay itself. We saw the hotel and took a couple of photos.

We then went on a loop in the Mini over to Ord, Tokavaig, then Toskavaig back over to Armadale and then up our road. This was some driving in the Mini with a lot of steep gradients, one being 20%. But wow it was worth it. You have to drive a Mini. Sometimes it had to be first gear! We could see the Cuillins with Blaven in front both have saw toothed ridges. We took a wee walk round Ord.

After that wee tour we came to Kinloch Forrest and walked out to Leitir Fura a deserted village. It was just smashing. We ate our lunch in warm sunshine. We have had such good weather this October holiday. Not so sunny today but milder.

We came to Broadford and took a wee walk out to the pier.

After that we went to the Blythswood shop and then came over the hill to Heast. Not a lovely place! We then came back and stopped on the top of the hill. We had a wee rest in the Mini and then went out onto the top of a mound to get some photos. It was bitter.

We came back down to Broadford to make use of the public convenience. We also got some water. We went back to the same chip shop.

This time Anne had a pasta bake and I had a chicken curry. It was really nice. We got petrol and came back to our B & B. We have paid for it – £100 for the two nights. Worth every penny!
