Making sure I have done the start of the Speyside Way (0.1 miles).
We are back for a wee holiday at the Old Coach House Hotel in Buckie.

The hotel is just across from the Church of Scotland.

This morning we walked from Buckie to Portknockie and back. Yesterday evening on a walk we found the official start of the Speyside Way. I never knew it was marked. So I went to do the few yards that I have not walked.
Buckie is such a nice place. This is Cluny Square in the centre.

The war memorial.

This is the start of the Speyside Way, just a wee bit below the war memorial.

Or it could be the end depending on the direction you walk.

I walked a wee bit down North High Street to reach markers for the way.

I ‘borrowed’ the map from Maximum Adventure’s website.

So now we have done
1. Buckie to Portgordon | Sunday 17th April 2022 |
2. Portgordon to Speybay | Wednesday 20th April 2022 |
3. Speybay to Fochabers | Saturday 16th April 2022 |
4. Fochabers to Boat o’ Brig | Monday 25th March 2024 |
5. Boat o’ Brig to Craigellachie | Friday 29th March 2024 |
6. Craigellachie to Carron | Tuesday 16th July 2024 |
Sections 1 & 2 were done as part of the ‘Moray Coastal Trail’. The two walks overlap.
