A short walk from the house beside Prosen Water (1.8 miles).
After coming back from Forfar I went for a short walk up the path across from the house..
I left the house about 4.20 and crossed Prosen Water by the wee foot bridge.
The path was OK to start with but even at this point it was getting faint and hard to follow.

I think that place is called Dalairn.
This is as far as I could reach. It was really hard going by this stage. It seems I was getting near a track marked on the map but I turned back.
As I came back down the Prosen this wee horse came to see me.
Our house is across the water and that is the footbridge.
It wasn’t the best of walks but I wanted to explore before returning from our holiday.
