Anne and I went for a Christmas Day walk with Mairi and Graham (4.1 miles).

We have done this walk often. We had Mairi and Graham with us for a lovely Christmas Day. After a huge and delicious lunch prepared my wee wife we went for a walk. The day was dull with the cloud low down but no frost, still very cold.



I drove us up the road to Ballavoulen in my old Ford Fusion. Graham took most of the photos. 


Then we headed up the track to Loch Morie, leaving the car at about 2.35. There has been a huge amount of forestry work going on and the track was terribly muddy and lined with piles of logs.

We did not stay long at the loch as it was cold and the light was fading. We arrived back at the car at 4.05. A lovely way to pass Christmas Afternoon. We got King Charles’ Christmas Message on catch up TV.
