A walk by Loch Fleet (4.4 miles).
This morning Anne took me to Golspie; I’m still not driving. We went to “Poppy’s” and had a scone and then came down to Littleferry.
Like the last page published on my blog this is a very easy walk. There is very little climbing and it is not too long. Anne parked her Ford Fusion at the car park and we started off walking at about 10.35. At first there were grassy paths above the beach.
That is Ben Bhraggie showing with the monument to the Duke of Sutherland on its summit.

Looking up Loch Fleet to Littleferry.

The grassy path ran out and we had to come down onto the beach.

As we got near Golspie we passed the Go-Kart Track. Just after it we turned left.

Then we came onto the Littleferry Road.

The autumn colours are beautiful.

A rather graphic sign!

An icehouse.

We got back to the car at 12.20. We came back up the Littleferry Road about a mile and parked near the end of Loch Fleet. We had noticed picnic tables and a seat here as we walked along the road. We sat on the seat and had our lunch at a most beautiful spot.
The morning was beautiful and sunny. Heavy rain came on the the afternoon. It makes you feel good to have used the day-time well. Talking of that, the clocks go an hour back tonight. I so hate when that happens. It is so dark in the evenings, or should I say afternoon.
